As a fisherman, you have probably heard of fishing line made with fluorocarbon. Fluorocarbon is known for its invisibility in water and high strength. Not only is it strong but it also has low visibility – meaning that fish can’t see it! This makes fluorocarbon perfect for catching speckled trout because the bait will be harder to detect by the fish. However, not all fluorocarbons are created equal! A few months ago I was trying to find the best fishing line on the market for speckled trout and was surprised by how many options there were available to me. It took some research and testing out several types of lines before I found one that worked well enough to recommend to my friends and fellow fishermen.
